Brazil

Brazil is located in South America near Bolivia and Paraguay. This country is known for it's coffee, which makes it the largest producer of coffee in the world. Apart from that, it's also known for soccer which happens to be their second wealth. The national soccer team of Brazil is made of a selection of best Brazilian players of football. It's also the best soccer team in the world and have been qualified in all the FIFA World Cup.

Brazil won his first world cup in 1958. Another straight win was in 1962. The third win was in 1970 and it was followed by the one of 1994 in the USA. Lastly the fifth one was in 2002 in Korea/Japan against Germany. After having cycled through all the continent by winning in each continent a World Cup. Since 50 years, Brazil is considered as the strongest footballing nation. By being placed often the first on the world ranking from FIFA and because of it's perfection of soccer.

José Roberto Gama de Oliveira also know as Bebeto, is one of my favorite brazilian soccer player and one of the famous Brazilian player. He invented the cheering after scoring a goal has the honor of his son who had born. The gesture becomes a classic in football.

From Brazil, comes two of my favorite soccer players in the world of the best soccer players in the history of soccer. Pelé the most iconic player of his history and also of the world soccer or also know as the legend of soccer. Whenever experts talk about soccer and it's history Pelé's name comes first in their mind.

Followed by Ronaldo, the world second best soccer player. At the age of 14 he has been selected to play for the national team for the world cup of 1994 and became the youngest player to win a world cup. According to me, there won't be a player like Ronaldo, he was just great, seeing him play, his strategies of stealing the ball from the other team and scoring was unbelievable.

Brazil is the first country to carry back home the World Cup trophy and that happened in 1994. To carry back home the trophy, the team must have won four World Cup.
If your a big fan of soccer and even more of Brazil like me then you should know that their biggest rival is France. Since 1977, France and Brazil have been competing with each other. Truth speaking among all the games that those teams played against each other France have won (4), Brazil (2) and (2) ties. Despite this, Brazil have more World Cup trophies than France which makes them better than France. Since Brazil and France they're rivals, I happen to not like the national soccer team of France because they think they're better than Brazil but it's not true.

I wish I could go to the World Cup of 2014 because for the first time,Brazil will host the largest event in the world. World Cup 2014 is going to be host in Brazil. According to the president of the Brazilian national federation of football ''We've been waiting for this announcement for so long''. I also been waiting for Brazil to host the World Cup and there is no way we are letting any other team win that World Cup.

I'm hoping to see more of Brazil in that World Cup and I hope I won't be disappointed this time.

World Cup

The World Cup was created in 1928. It's one of the greatest event in the world, the biggest event in FIFA and the most watched event in the world. The world cup has been played since 1930, was stopped during the second war and returned in 1950.

The World Cup of soccer doesn't include every national team in the world. Only teams that are qualified after the playoffs. In Africa, only 4 national teams can go to the World Cup and the rest are teams from Europe, Asia, North, South America and the Caribbean. In total 32 national teams meet up to compete in the World Cup. I honestly find that not fair how only 4 teams from Africa can participate in the World Cup because 4 is really a small number compared to the number of national teams in Africa.

It happens every four years, 32 teams competing against each other and these 32 teams are divided in 8 groups of four name as (a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h). Starts with the groups playoffs, teams that get qualified after the groups playoffs goes to 8th of final, then quarter-final, semi-final, 3rd place and then the final.
Some people might not know this, but the World Cup contribute in the development of the world economy and most importantly the economic development of the host country.

Among all the world cups that have been played, those that I find spectacular and that I would never forget are the world cup of 1958-1962-1970(Brazil and the Brazilian superstar Pélé), 19886-1990 (Rite of Maradona of Argentina and the revenge of Germany), 1994-1998-2002 (Coronations of Brazil and France) and 2006-2010(The European domination).

Personally, my favorites world cups are the one in 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2006, but my most favorite was the one on 2002. FIFA World Cup in 2002 was played in two countries Korea and Japan. The reason why it's my most favorite is because, first Brazil won the final. It was my first World Cup that I've watch from the start until the end and also I had to laugh at my brothers for the rest of the summer because they were cheering for the losing teams.

Other things that I find really interesting in World Cup are; that it is not only the team who wins the final that gets a price, but as well as the player who scored most of goals; the best goal keeper and the best player of the world cup will also get a price. In 2002, we had a little idea of who will go to the final, who will win, who will be the best player and best scorer. First because Brazil was humiliated on july 12th 1998 in ''Stade de France'' in Saint Denis. Even though Brazil was the title holder, France was the host country so basically they both had chances of wining the competition.

In 2002, two heck of a players were in the competition; the brazilian Ronaldo who was discovered in the 1994 World Cup at the age of 17 and the French player Zinedine Zidane. Zidane scored all the three goals in the final, won the ''Ballon d'Or'' and the world best player in 1998.

My most funniest moment of the World Cup 2002 was when France got eliminated in the first round by Senegal. It was the most chocking game until then, it was unbelievable! Brazil made its way untill the final and won against Germany in the soil of Yokahama in Japan thanks to two stunning goals of Ronaldo. The number 9 of Brazil also gets the price of the top scorer and the ''Soulier d'Or'' of the World Cup.

In 2006, the World Cup was hosted in Germany. Another chocking moment happened, my favorite team Brazil who was the title holder got eliminated in the quarter-final by their biggest rival, France. I was so frustrated, I cried of pain that night and for me it was one of the worst World Cup that Brazil has participated. The host country Germany was eliminated during a penalty shot in the semi-final. Italy wins the final against France and one of the most important thing in that world cup Zidane gets out of the game by a red card after hitting by his head the Italian player Materazzi. You might think it's just an ordinary hit in the stomach but that hit was SPECTACULAR and SURPRISE for everyone especially coming from one of the best player in the world

FIFA

Soccer is one of the most popular sport in the world
because there is some big events attached to soccer that gives it more impact. Those event are; The World Cup, Champions League, Coupe d'Europe, Coupe d'Afrique, Copa America etc.. FIFA is  the world federation of Soccer, created in France in january 1904, the goal of it's creation was to improve soccer in the world. FIFA consists 208 federation of Soccer. Each continent has it's own federation of soccer, which are UEFA(europe), CAF(africa), CONMEBOL(south america), AFC(Asia), CONCACAF(north, central american and caraibbea), OFA(oceania).

The first president FIFA was Robert Guérin and the actual president is Joseph Sepp Blatter. The reason why I choose to do my blog about FIFA is because soccer is a part of my life since I was a little kid. I grew up in a family of boys that love soccer and I basically learn everything about soccer.

2002 was the year that I got really interested in soccer on the occasion of the 17e FiFa World Cup Korea/Japan. I started watching soccer in 1998, unfortunately I couldn't understand everything. FiFa World Cup is my most favorite event in the world, National Team of Brazil is my favorite team, Champions League is my second favorite event in the FiFa and FC Barcelona is my favorite team. I've been through a lot with those two teams, disappointment in some years, I've been made fun of because of our loss in some games. Despite this, I still love these teams very much.

In FIFA, there is rules that are applied on players, referees and coaches. Just like in every other federation of sports, players are not allowed to drug themselves in any case. If a player gets caught for ''doping'' can get expelled from the team, risk of not being able to play in any other team, risk of rehab, a fine or the painful thing is it can be the end of your carrier.

Doping yourself while doing sport, especially a popular sport like soccer is consider cheating. First, you have an advantage on other players, more chance of winning and a lot of energy to do great things that other might not be capable to do at a normal health. Injustice is not tolerated and especially when drugs is involve.

In the follow lines, I'm going to talk about events, historic, persons attached to the FIFA such as a soccer game, World Cup, Brazilian national soccer team, FC Barcelona, Champions League, Ronaldo, Messi, The 3 best soccer player of all time, Ballon d'Or and Barcelona vs Chelsea etc...
