FIFA World Cup 2014

 I'm really exiced for the 20th edition of the FIFA World Cup. The most exciting part is that it's going to be hosted by Brazil, in Brazil wich is my favourite national soccer team. Brazil is the country that has more world cup trophies than any other country in the most, yet there is also Italy that is behind them with 4 trophy. I like Italy, but when it comes to compare them with Brazil there is no comparaison because Brazil is the best of all . I want Brazil to win this world cup with all my heart and I know it could happen. Brazil has the majority of the best soccer player in the world and the best of all time.

Like I said in my previous blogs, the World Cup is the most watched invent in the world. Although, there has been some really interesting World Cups in previous years and some boring ones such as the World Cup

Okay, so this is the very last blog I'll be posting, I want to thank you all for taking the time to read my blogs and your comments were really helpfull. 2010.
Soccer in general is a really interesting sport, really fun to watch and not too easy to understand but more you watch it, the easieur it gets.

After all these blog, I hope you are going to start to watch some soccer games when you have time and I promise you won't be bored out of it.

The Champions League 2012 final

This passed week, I was so excited for the final of my second favorite soccer event; The UEFA Champions League. None of my team was playing but the excitment that I had was just weird I can say. Chelsea Fc was playing against Bayern Munich in Bayern staduim.

In five years, this is Chelsea's second time to go to the final, in 2007, Chelsea lost against Manchester United. It was really hard for Chelsea's fan, players and mostly their president...
I wasn't supporting any team, but my judgement was that ''may the best win''. In the first half, Bayern was leading the game, I actually went out after the first half meaning that I didn't get to watch the second half.
When I got back, the score was 1-1 and it was the overtime and there was only 5 minutes left for it to be done.

Oh my God, neither of both teams scored so they had to go to the penalty shoot out. Weird much, my heart was beating really hard during the penalty shoot out, for a second I thought Bayern was going to win because but it turned out the opposite. Actually, I was pretty positive about it, even though I don't like that team but I find that the deserve that trophy. Better luck for Barcelona and the other teams in the next Champions League.

El Clasico

El Clasico is a spanish name for one of the biggest soccer game of the year between two largest cities of Spain. Also known as ''El derbi'', it happens twice in a year and it's usually Barcelona against Real Madrid and it can also be Barcelona against Chelsea.


Now those are my favorite games and also one of the most important soccer games of the year. Like I said earlier in my other blogs, I love Barcelona more than any other soccer clubs. Real Madrid and Chelsea are also one the best soccer clubs in the world right now but when it comes with Barcelona they're not that good.



I used to love Real Madrid when I was little at the year of 2002-2003 but when I realize that it's those kind of team that ruins players careers. I quit liking it. It's really fun watching the Clasico games because in my family we all have different favorite teams and it's really interesting how each person love its favorite team.

This year my favorite team Barcelona lost both games. The first was against Real Madrid for the Copa, Barcelona did everything they could to win that game but chance wasn't on our side, and we ended up losing. For me, it's not the lost I'm worrying about but it's the fact that Christiano Ronaldo scored in that game and Messi didn't. This is my biggest worry of this year, things risk to change, meaning that Messi is at risk of not being the best player this year and chances are Christiano might be...

Also, we lost the semi-final against Chelsea. We had all the opportunities to win but once again chances weren't on our side. I felt so bad after this humiliation, we lost two games in less than 2 weeks.
Now my wishes are that Chelsea loses the final, Barcelona get on top in the Liga Championship and that Messi get to be the best goal scorer this year again so he could get the Ballon d'Or.

FC Barcelona vs FC Chelsea

 

I am Barcelona's biggest fan. I've been Barcelona's fan since I was 10 years old, I know almost everything there is to know about this europeen soccer team. Contrary, I dont like Chelsea. I like Chelsea but most of the time they just suck. Also at the same time I don't like them because they are one of the biggest rivals of Barcelona after the Real Madrid.

Right now, Barcelona is the best soccer club in the world, the title holder of the Champions League and of Copa de la Liga. All of my favorites soccer player played in Barcelone, Ronaldo, Ronaldhino, Samuel Eto'o, Pélé and now Messi. Chelsea isn't a weak team but for me it's not a great team compared to Barcelona. I know and certified that the rivality between Barcelona and Chelsea started in 2008 when Barcelona eliminated Chelsea in the semi-final of the Champions League in Stamford Bridge.

Tuesday April 24th 2012, was one the day that I got really disappointed in Barcelone. I was the semi-final of the Champions League, we were playing against Chelsea in our own land (Camp Nou Staduim) and we got humiliated. It was a huge humiliation for me and all Barcelona's fan because we lost three games in 2 weeks and what makes it even more ridiculous is we lost against our biggest rivals (Chelsea and Real Madrid).

I was shocked, my day was  ruined. My brothers and my mom laughed at me like crazy, I left my house because it was too much humiliation for me. Barcelona's had so many opportunity to win and to also win by many goals. Messi missed to many goals that could of made us win, he missed a freaking etc... . I almost hated him but at the same time he still is my favorite player and everybody has those days.

Chelsea might defeated us tuesday, but the journey isn't done for them they still have the final to win and we still have next season of Champions league to prove that we are still the best team.

Messi

Messi, a name that signify "The savior". It's also the name of the most famous soccer player now, he is 24 years old and from Argentina.


The reason why I'm doing a blog about him is because I love him. After the retirement of Ronaldo, Zidane, the departure of Ronaldhino, Samuel Eto'o and all those great players soccer for me became boring. I mean watching a game knowing that there won't be the players that you like to watch was terrifying. Messi is a great player, FC Barcelona had him since he was 10 years old. Barcelona is like his family.

I started being Messi's fan in 2008, it was the semi-final of Champions League FC Barcelona against FC Chelsea. The way he dribbles was amazing, his goals were fantastic.Another reason why I love Messi is because he contribute in the community. When I say contribute, I mean he established the Leo Messi Foundation, a charity supporting access to education and health care for vulnerable children.

 


Back in the days, Messi also had childhood medical difficulties and that's the main thing why he established that foundation. Also, I love him because he's simple even in his way of playing compare to other players of his age. Because of that Messi was announced as the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF.

Now speaking, Messi has 3 ''Ballon d'Or'', 2 Champions League, many Copa America, a lot of Ligua and many more... 
I can't wait to see him play in the World Cup with the Argentina jersey, who knows there might be a surprise coming from Messi in the next World Cup.

Ronaldo

Ronaldo started his career at the age of 14. Since then he became the soccer legend and I've been his beggest fan since 2002.


I've been through a lot with him, good and worst. According to me, Ronaldo is the best soccer player of all time and I'm not just saying that because I love him. The fact that Ronaldo appears in the soccer tournment in 1994 was a good thing because at that time soccer was much more developped than it was in 1960 or 1970. For me, he had his own way of playing, the way he dribbles, passes the ball and scores was spectacular and not what we've been seeing in soccer years before.

Ronaldo has every ''Palmares, a fancy word in french that signify trophies'', that a soccer player could have except the Champions League. He got fractured after the World Cup 2002 and got transfered in Real Madrid. At that time I didn't hate Real Madrid as much. I really hated it this much because the arrival of Ronaldo in that team was the start of the end of his career.

I think and approve that Real Madrid is the team that drived Ronaldo to his end and also the case of other players like Kaka, Zidane etc.. . According to my analysis, Real Madrid buys all the good players and after playing for them those players lost their good skills.

Ronaldo could of got the Champions League 2002-2003 if he was still in Inter Milan.

Champions League

Champions League is my favorite event in FIFA after the world cup. It's also one of the event that I'm really comfortable with and I know practically everything there is to know about it. The main goal of it's creation was to improve soccer in Europe with the bestest European soccer clubs. It's played just like other soccer competition with four phase (8th of final, quarter-final, semi-final and Final).

My favorite European soccer club is FC Barcelona like I said earlier in my previous blogs. This Spain soccer club is the best soccer club in the world right now. Barcelona is the tittle holder of the Champions League. Just like Brazil, Barcelona has a biggest rival too and it's Real Madrid. Real is the team that have won more trophies than any other team in the competition. One again I don't like my teams rivals, meaning that I don't like Real Madrid. 

We've played a lot of games against each other, most of the games Barcelona won. It's been so long since Barcelona and Real played against each other in the Champions League.

Personally my favorite game of Barcelona against Real Madrid was in 2006, Barcelona won by 3 goals all scored by the Brazilian player Ronaldhino. Every time that these teams compete against each other, its the game of the year the specific name is El Clasico. They have been rivals since 1902 until now, I honestly don't know when that rivality's going to finish. This year Champions League, there's a chance that Barcelona play against Real in the semi-final...  I'm hoping that it happens because one again I will have a chance to laugh at my brothers for supporting the Real.
